As vocations continue to grow, the need for a dedicated home for formation has become clear.

WHAT IS A NOVITIATE?

A Catholic novitiate is the place where women discerning a religious vocation begin their formal formation in consecrated religious life. It is here that they are formed in prayer, community life, and the spiritual traditions of their order. This period of formation is essential—laying the foundation for a lifelong vocation dedicated to God.

For the Consoling Sisters, the novitiate is not simply a building. It is a home where future sisters are shaped in a life of devotion, sacrifice, and love.

 

The Novitiate of Mother Cabrini will provide a dedicated home for this essential period of formation for future Consoling Sisters in the United States, and prepare the sisters for their future apostolate.

WHY DENVER?

A GROWING NEED

The sisters are experiencing a steady growth in vocations.

Their current novitiate is at capacity, limiting the number of young women who can enter and begin formation.

Without a new space, this growth cannot continue.

A novitiate in Denver will allow more women to respond to this call—ensuring that this life of prayer and service continues to flourish.
